What if you are still waiting for His rescue?
I’m so excited to contribute for my new friend Rhonda Fleming at her website of Anchoringhope.com.
She has launched a new site that promotes messages of hope from speakers and authors. Rhonda has a heart for extending love and help to a lost, hurting world. She longs to make a difference in the lives of others in practical ways so be sure to check out her ministry.
Here is my latest post for Anchoring Hope.

Loved your post, on Anchoring Hope, today!! I used to sit in church thinking I was the only one with problems. Then, I started teaching 4th grade girls in Sunday School. They loved coming in and telling about their family problems. I would actually have to tell some of the little girls that their parents may not want the class knowing these issues. From then on, I realized how many parents were dealing with wayward teens and how many marriages were on the verge of collapse. I started sitting in worship service praying for the other families, instead of worrying about my own challenges.
God is so good to put us, in community, with other people who are facing struggles too. We may not be on the other side of our problems, but He has promised to never leave us or forsake us (Heb. 13:5).

So true Erin! A change in my perspective is as helpful to me as a change in my circumstances. It can make all the difference between feeling overwhelmed and the ability to persevere. Thanks for visiting with me today!

So true that by changing our mindset we can soldier on so much better.
By turning a negative into a positive no matter how small can save a downward spiralling mood into a glimmer of hope.
Lovely and positive blog Gretchen …love your name
