Is “life” setting a frantic pace for you?
Feeling stressed or overwhelmed?
I know the feelings well. They describe me in my natural demeanor.
I’m a do-er.
Goal-driven and responsible.
These qualities can easily send me into a prolonged state of urgency. I can feel so responsible in life that I end up feeling frantic – like I must take care of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE or the world will come crashing down.
We were never meant to become a slave to productivity and responsibilities. Share on XHop on over to She Believes to read the rest of my post, learning practical daily steps for taking “frantic” out of our lifestyles. Join us for our latest Bible study on the Gospel of John.

I just realized after reading your reflection questions that I’m not releasing some burdens that I feel stressed about. Thank you! Love this post!

I so easily fall into the frantic mindset too! Abide is my word for 2017, and it’s so great to hand the day over to Him when I catch myself trying to do things on my strength instead of His! Really appreciate your reminder to do so.

So glad for your visit Dani and I echo the peace found once I realize what I’m doing – attempting in my own ability what needs to be cast upon Him. ??

I can relate to this. I’m very good at thriving in chaos, but I forget how to live in the normal slower pace, too. This can cause the quality of time spent with family to suffer.

So true! Thanks for stopping by Lauren!
